US Bank Presents Check to Workforce Development Alliance

The St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce-led Workforce Development Alliance today today received a $10,000 grant in a check presentation from the U.S. Bank Foundation. The grant will be used to support the Alliance’s mission: to support, enhance and implement initiatives that focus on the improvement of the area labor force.

“Creating opportunities for our community requires resources, and we appreciate the support from the U.S. Bank Foundation, which helps us continue to build and expand the innovative programs we’re proud to offer,” said Natalie Hawn, President and CEO of the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce.

The Workforce Development Alliance aims to coordinate local training and educational initiatives to support a prepared and engaged workforce, leading to successful local businesses.

“Supporting the development of small businesses and a dynamic workforce is an investment in today and our future. We’re proud to work with organizations like the Chamber to help people to succeed in their careers and build thriving communities,” said Kristen Polchinski, Community Affairs Manager at U.S. Bank.

U.S. Bank is committed to powering human potential and creating lasting change in communities. The bank does this through the Community Possible platform, including philanthropy, community investments and team member volunteerism.
