A new facility that helps recently released prison inmates is now open. The facility can accommodate up to 32 at one time and includes a sleep area, kitchen, lounge, showers and a training room where the former inmates will learn trade skills that will help them secure employment.
The facility is located at 611 South 7th St. in St. Joseph.
