The Social Welfare Board celebrated a name change on Monday. Now the Stuber Health Center, it is a non-profit organization providing health care to the underserved in St Joseph and Buchanan County. Located at 904 S. 10th St., it was renamed in honor of longtime Dr. Robert Stuber who passed away last year. He donated more than 20,000 hours to the clinic.
The day also was special because the Social Welfare Board clinic was created on June 24, 1913, so Monday was its 111th anniversary. For more information, see this site.
