Metropolitan Community College (MCC) celebrated the opening of its St. Joseph location at Hillyard Technical Center Wednesday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Starting this fall MCC is offering welding, production management and manufacturing courses at the Hillyard campus in St. Joseph. The offering of this type of education is critical in closing the skills gap between high school and careers for those who do not wish to pursue a four-year degree.
