Mayor Bill McMurray gave his first State of the City address at the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce’s first Public Affairs Coffee of the year. The event was held Feb. 15 at Stoney Creek Inn and Conference Center.
Mr. McMurray updated the crowd of about 135 about how the city and how he himself are focusing on the three main points of the Imagine St. Joseph 2040 plan: Invest in People, Create a Better Place and Grow Prosperity. Many city programs that are currently ongoing or in the planning phase attempt to move these areas forward. For more on the plan, see this site.
