Local legislators gathered Tuesday morning to share their opinions on how the recent session in Jefferson City went. Sen. Rusty Black, Rep. Bill Falkner, Rep. Brenda Shields and Rep. Dean Van Schoiack attend the Public Affairs Coffee held May 30, 2023, at Stoney Creek Hotel & Conference Center. They discussed bills that they were a part of that passed and those that will need to be re-addressed in the future.
Also at the event, LifeLine President and CEO Kevin Kelly was honored for his work with the Imagine St. Joseph 2040 program. He brought the idea for the Adopt A Block program to the Chamber of Commerce and now more than 50 businesses have signed up to participate in the Community Alliance program.
