Candidates for the St. Joseph area House and Senate seats discussed election issues at a Public Affairs Coffee on Oct. 12, at Stoney Creek Hotel & Conference Center. Candidates discussed Proposition D, expansion of Medicaid, prescription drug monitoring, training and workforce development and medical marijuana, among other issues.
The event was broadcast live on KFEQ 680 so those who weren’t able to attend the breakfast event were still able to get informed before the Nov. 6 election.
Public Affairs Coffees are presented by Cochran Head Vick & Co. and held regularly to keep Chamber members informed about legislative and economic issues.
