Congratulations to our partners in Elwood, Kan., on the $130 million investment of Elanco, a global leader in animal health. The expansion and renovation of its pet product manufacturing operation will increase capacity to support the brand’s line of pet health products, which are anticipated to launch later this year. It also will add about 70 jobs at the facility.
The St. Joseph Economic Development Partnership is proud to have been a part of bringing this project to fruition in the St. Joseph area. The project was led by the Kansas City Area Development Council, with the following agencies also assisting: KC Animal Health Corridor, State of Kansas, City of Elwood, Kansas Department of Commerce, Doniphan County, Evergy, and Burns & McDonnell.
