Economic Forecast Given at Virtual Event

Dr. Chris Kuehl gave St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce members an idea of what to expect economically in 2021 — and the news wasn’t as bad as expected. Dr. Kuehl spoke as a part of the 2020 Economic Development Summit, which was a virtual event this year presented by RS Electric.

Patt Lilly, President and CEO of the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce, gave highlights of economic activity in St. Joseph so far this year, which includes new companies coming to St. Joseph like O’Neal Steel and Vertical Enterprises, as well as multiple expansions at companies including Boehringer Ingelheim, Nestle PTC, Sealed Air/Cryovac, BMS Logistics and improvements to the Missouri River Port.
