Tim Cowden, President and CEO of the Kansas City Area Development Council, gave Chairman’s Breakfast attendees an update on issues that affect economic development in the Kansas City area on Tuesday morning.
He discussed the newly-redesigned airport, the new Tech Hub designation, the FIFA World Cup and the relocation of Royals’ home stadium. He also explained how economic development works and St. Joseph’s role in the Kansas City region. Economic development is growing local companies, encouraging start-ups and attracting new businesses to move to a community.
