Buchanan County EMS celebrated its new facility in St. Joseph’s North Side on Tuesday. The building not only is large enough to house its ambulances, but has also become a training facility for its EMT and paramedic programs. It provides EMS/ambulance coverage for Buchanan County, Mo., and a small portion of Northeast Doniphan County, Kan. This includes the cities of St. Joseph, Faucett, DeKalb, Rushville, and Agency.
