Friends of the Animal Shelter of St. Joseph recently celebrated and shared its new building with the public.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held and guests were treated to tours, giveaways, on-site adoptions, cold drinks, fun vendor booths and kids’ activities.
The new facility will increase the shelter’s exposure to the community, be more inviting, reduce the risk of illness for the animals, increase adoption rates and expand community programs and partnerships.
