Albaugh, LLC, celebrated its expansion in the Stockyards on Monday. The expansion involved building a new packaging and distribution center on the former St. Joseph Stockyards property that Albaugh purchased in 2021. The building is about 2 acres or 81,120 square feet. It was a total investment of more than $10 million and created 10 new jobs.
A part of the expansion including creating a conveyor system to eliminate about 50 trucks crossing Stockyards Expressway on a daily basis. Albaugh created a new piece of artwork at 4900 Stockyards Expressway on the sky bridge/conveyor system that celebrates St. Joseph and its agricultural history.
